Steven K. Platzek received his Juris Doctorate in 2004 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York, NY, and his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Miami. His area of concentration includes real estate and commercial transactions where he represents businesses, real estate developers, investors, and lenders in all aspects of their respective businesses, as well as corporate transactions and employment matters.
Mr. Platzek also handles all aspects of civil litigation, including, but not limited to, business disputes, complex commercial litigation, business torts, landlord/tenant, restrictive covenants, contract disputes, employment matters, and collection matters on behalf of both corporate clients and individuals from pre-suit negotiation through trial and combines dedicated personal attention and reasonable fee structures to further his clients’ goals in an efficient and effective manner.
Mr. Platzek is also available to serve as a mediator to help facilitate the resolution of a wide variety of business and real estate disputes at mediation, where he works to cut through the emotion, posturing, and gamesmanship involved in commercial disputes through patient yet energetic dedication to addressing each party’s legal and factual position to reach a fair and satisfying settlement.
Mr. Platzek is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
