Born in Connecticut but raised in South Florida, Ivy graduated with Honors when she obtained her Associate’s degree in Legal Studies at Keiser University in 2005, as well as her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2009.
Ivy’s legal career started as a Litigation Coordinator in the Law Department of a national servicer of subprime mortgages in West Palm Beach. That position gave her the knowledge to understand the real estate industry and what title companies should and shouldn’t do in order to avoid a title claim later. She worked with several real estate attorneys and even managed a title company before ultimately deciding that the litigation end was where her true passion lies. With that, in 2007 Ivy delved in the personal injury field and was working for one of the highly recognized personal injury firms in the South Florida area before joining the Graner & Platzek team in June 2010, where she continues to expand her knowledge of not only Florida State laws but Federal and Bankruptcy laws and rules, as well.
